These terms govern your use of the Vivah Sankalp app and website. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. Please read them before you register.
Eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years old
- You must be legally eligible for marriage
- You must provide accurate and truthful information
- You must not maintain multiple active profiles
Your profile
Every profile is reviewed by our team before it is published. We may decline or unpublish a profile that is incomplete, inaccurate, or that we cannot verify. You are responsible for keeping your biodata accurate and up to date.
How you may use the service
- Use respectful and appropriate language
- Upload genuine and recent photographs of yourself
- Respect other members' privacy and boundaries
- Report inappropriate behaviour to us promptly
- Do not publish other people's personal contact details
What is not allowed
- Creating fake, impersonating or misleading profiles
- Harassment, abuse or threatening behaviour
- Asking members for money, or any commercial solicitation or spam
- Sharing obscene, offensive or unlawful content
- Scraping the service or attempting to bypass its security
Premium membership and payment
Premium membership costs ₹2,000 and remains active for one year from the date our team activates it. Payment is made by UPI and Premium is activated manually after we confirm the payment — please call us on 9284591784 once you have paid. Premium gives you access to additional features; it is not a promise of a match or a marriage. Payments are non-refundable once Premium has been activated, except where the law requires otherwise.
Suspension and closing your account
We may suspend or terminate an account that breaks these terms or that we believe is being used to deceive or harm other members. You may delete your account at any time from the app settings.
We introduce, we do not guarantee. Vivah Sankalp helps families discover and evaluate proposals. We verify profiles to the best of our ability, but we cannot guarantee the conduct, intentions or statements of any member. Please make your own enquiries before taking a proposal forward, and meet only in safe, public places.
Limitation of liability
The service is provided "as is", without warranties. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for the acts of other members or for the outcome of any introduction made through the platform.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Maharashtra have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
